Make your mouth water with delicious produce fresh from the fields. Meet the grower, taste the produce and fill your bags with plenty of goodies to take home or enjoy on your visit to the region.

Farm fresh produce can be purchased at the farm gate or at colourful road side fruit and veg stalls. The Avenue of Honour in Bacchus Marsh boasts a wide array of roadside traders; Jeff Jones Plants and Produce, Paynes Orchards, The Fruits of Life, Bacchus Marsh Berry Farm, Natureripe Fruits, Big Apple Tourist Orchard, and Spurr & Sons Orchards. 

Go one step further and enjoy the experience of “pick your own” with everything from mouth watering strawberries to a delicious array of stone fruits and berries. At Natureripe Fruits pick strawberries, and summer fruits such as peaches and nectarines. At Paynes Orchards you can pick just about anything - stone fruits, apples and much more.

With all this fresh produce close at hand many of the growers turn their bounty into an array of enticing home-made preserves. Scan the shelves at road side stalls or talk to the stall holders about what’s on offer in a jar!
