Our Lady Ta Pinu Marian Centre
After World War II, migration from Malta to Australia grew substantially. The people continued their customs and faithful devotion to the Mother of God, under the title by which she is honoured in Malta: Our Lady of Ta Pinu. A suitable site was found above the beautiful valley of Bacchus Marsh for pilgrimage honouring Our Lady. A beautiful chapel, a replica of the original chapel at Ta Pinu Basilica on the island of Gozo, off Malta, has been erected. Each month, hundreds of people gather to recite the Rosary and hear Mass.
